Stock Arrival
The Stock Arrival module allows your staff to use a PDA or PC to handle incoming fruit and vegetables into the packhouse. Fruit/vegetables can come from either your own farms, other growers, or directly from suppliers such as fruit and vegetable wholesalers.  Barcodes can be scanned (and or generated) when produce arrives at the packhouse to maintain traceability. 

The Stock Arrival module allows your pack-house to record containers of produce when it arrives at a storage site or pack-house.  The produce can be tracked accurately throughout the storage and processing phase of production allowing efficient unprocessed goods management via identification barcode labels which can be scanned using a PDA device. This module is an essential part of the ProducePak Pack-House suite.  

Record Incoming Produce

Using the Stock Arrival module you can record simple details of incoming produce, or you can record detailed information depending on your requirements.  Each time stock is brought from the crop/grower to the storage/pack-house, a Stock Arrival record is created.  Essential details such as:

• arrival temperature
• origin grower/crop
• qty of buckets/bins
• binned buckets
• total weight
• pick date, received date & time

and other details are recorded.  Note that many of these details are optional. 

Scan incoming stock for traceability

Use a PDA to scan incoming stock to collect origin, picker, crop ID and other information.  Quick, simple, and accurate!

The ProducePak Packing Labour module allows your packing shed to operate at peak efficiency by allowing the accountability and traceability of packing shed staff and making the task of staff labour tracking fast and efficient. 

Create Staff Pay Records

Using the Packing Labour module you can rapidly record packing labour.  The intuitive forms allows you to copy labour records from yesterday (or a selected Lot), or rapidly tick the staff working today.

Scan Cartons to Record Labour

Use a PDA to scan packed pallets to record scanned data (this process also records the creation of the packed product as well). 

Determine Lot/Batch Labour Costs

The Packing Labour module allows you to monitor packing labour costs on a Lot by Lot basis.  This information can later be used to bill other growers for packing services.  Other reports allow you to track the per carton packing costs and more…

Determine Overall Labour Costs

Use this module to track overall packing costs over any selected period of time.  Compare this seasons/quarters packing labour with last seasons. 

Unlimited Shifts

The Packing Labour module allows unlimited shifts per day/Production Run. 

Packing Priority
The priority of which orders need to be packed first at “this very point in time” is constantly managed by the Packing Priority Control module. 

The Packing Priority Control module allows sales orders to be prioritised by administration or marketing staff when they are received, and the packing shed staff will automatically be alerted of the priority of each order during their daily packing activities. 

Printed Packing Priority

Staff can print Packing Priority forms and distribute to each line manager or pack manager to ensure produce is packed in the correct order.

Staff can also view the priority of packing not only on PC’s but also on large display monitors that can be mounted in the packing shed. 

Individual Sales Order Priority

Packing priorities are based on the importance of Sales Orders, so an individual order from a specific customer can be given absolute priority over other customer orders. 

Quality Control
The Quality Control module allows your pack-house to randomly select unprocessed or packed produce and perform quality tests on it.  The results are used to produce a Quality Control report which can be matched with your customers quality requirements or used to determine picker, and packing performance. 

Used correctly, the QA module is highly accurate; existing ProducePak QC users have reported receiving QC tests from chain stores which matched the QA results from ProducePak to the decimal place.

Record Pre Pack QC

Pre Pack QC can be performed on Bins.  This allows the measurement of produce quality before it is sorted, and used in conjunction with picker numbers can be used to identify pickers whom are performing poorly and help growers improve the produce quality which is delivered to the packing facility.   

Quality Control, any time, anywhere

Quality control can be performed at any time throughout the process, allowing your business to determine its own quality control processes and criteria. 

One Click Traceability Reporting

Rapidly perform a recall or traceability audit simply by specifying the Batch number.  Instantly return details of the entire production and packing history of a batch.  Recalls can also be performed by the Inventory Batch Number of inventory that was used in the production or packing process.   Other recall procedures are available for packaging inventory batches, crop input materials, and block/crop recall factilities.

Post Pack QC Tests

Once goods have been packed, the cartons/containers can be randomly selected for Post Pack QC Tests.  The results of the tests can be used to gage packer performance, and determine the ultimate market for the processed goods. 

Creating QC Standards

The QC module allows you to define QC standards such as Woolworths, or Coles; or even make up your own standards.  You can create an unlimited number of QC standards which can optionally be specific to a combination of Produce Type, Colour, and Size.

Mobile Quality Control

The Mobile Stock Control module allows staff to perform these functions using a PDA (very small mobile computer) anywhere in the packing shed  or outside in dispatch areas.  See Mobile Stock Control for more information.

Controlling and tracking pallets of fruit and vegetable stock has never been easier with the Pallet Control module. The Pallet Control Module allows full control of all fruit, vegetable, and seafood packed in your businesses.

Create & Maintain Pallets

Most importantly, this module allows you business to create and manipulate fruit, vegetable, and seafood – on pallets, or in some way “packaged” or processed. 

Quality Audit Trail

Pallet details such as time created, who created it, contents, Lot & Batch Numbers, Weights, Notes, and the complete history of every time the pallet was moved (AND who moved it) is continuously automatically recorded in the background.  An audit of a pallets history can be performed at any time at the click of a button.

Automatic Materials Consumption

The system automatically records the consumption of packaging materials (eg: cartons, trays, plastic punnets/sleeves etc).  This information can later be used to analyse packing costs. 

Pallet Labels (Standard)

Print pallet labels that identify the fruit, vegetable, and seafood on each pallet.  The pallet label has a Pallet Number which is automatically generated by ProducePak. 

EAN Pallet Labels

Generate EAN Pallet labels using either your own GTINS or those belonging to a supplier, create labels for individual cartons, as well as pallets. 

Stock Control Bar-Codes

For use in conjunction with our mobile bar-coding solution, each pallet can have a unique barcode for stock control.

Location Tracking

Each pallet is assigned a location or storage area.

Pallets can be created that were packed in the field, packed in the packhouse, or purchased from a supplier. 

Consignment
Rapidly manage the sales, consignment, and dispatch processes with the click of a mouse or stylus!
The Consignment module allows you to view your packed produce, purchase orders/list of customers, and rapidly consign goods and automatically create   Delivery Dockets, Transport Dockets and more. 

Consigning Goods

This facility allows you to view only the produce you are interested in consigning; by right clicking on each pallet and selecting the customer you wish to consign to – you can sell produce and automatically generate all relevant paperwork in a matter of minutes instead of hours!

Sales Order Management

The system allows management of your clients Purchase Orders, which become Sales Orders in the system.  This allows packhouse staff to plan their packing activities and better manage the dispatch process. 

Delivery Dockets & Invoices

The Consignment module can rapidly produce your Delivery Dockets, these dockets can accompany the shipment of goods and can also double as an invoice if required.  The dockets fit inside a window envelope if you choose to include pricing information on the docket.  Automatic creation of Delivery Dockets saves a massive amount of time in the office!

For selected customers, you can display ‘their’ product codes next to each item on the Delivery Docket.

Extensive Sales Analysis & Reporting

Information collected during the consignment process allows marketing and sales staff to perform comprehensive sales analysis. 

Inventory
This module allows the management of all materials used in the business for packing fruit and vegetable products.   When Tasks are performed, the system automatically deducts the quantity of materials used from inventory.  This allows  constant tracking of the quantity of materials on hand.
